Our story
What started as a small idea and a girl with big dreams, grew into what Blossom + Bloom Collective is today. In November 2023 I quit my job at the salon I was working at to be able to stay home with my daughter more. I knew I still wanted to do hair and keep my regular clients so I took the jump and transformed a bedroom in our house into my personal workspace, a fully functional hair salon. One thing led to another and I slowly started learning new services I would be able to offer in my home salon. I started with waxing, and then moved on to spray tanning, getting a full certification. I then decided to try my hand at permanent jewelry. I've truly found my passion, and love that I get to help people feel like the most beautiful version of themselves.
About the Owner
Hi! My name is Kiya and I'm so glad you're here. I graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2018 as a licensed cosmetologist. I have been doing hair for the last 7 years working at both a corporate salon, and as a booth renter at a small town salon in my hometown. I love learning new things in the beauty field and am always trying something new to further my education. My partner and I live in Luxemburg Wisconsin with our two girls. I work from home and my partner owns a butcher shop about 5 miles from our house. We are always on the go, whether it's a pop up event for my business, a butcher convention or event, gymnastics for our oldest, trying to get together with friends and family, it's always something. We really are the definition of busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way! I am so blessed to be able to stay home with our babies and still get to do what I love for work at the same time. In my free time I love to bake, garden (when I can keep it alive), and spend time with my babies. Blossom + Bloom Collective is a space for me to let my creativity shine, and I hope I can share some of that creativity with you soon!
